This is definately not our parents’ stereo console. Many of us remember those huge all-in-one wooden veneered monstrosities that our parents considered “high fidelity” back in the day. Although some of those units were fairly decent mid century designs (see Canada’s Clairtone) most were, by today’s standards, pretty hideous looking.
